Welcome, Ken!

I understand the "factory floor" look thing, and still stick to it much of the time myself, but experimenting with weathering, damage, etc can be fun.

Hi all,

I'm returning to modeling after about a 20 year hiatus. Wow, things have changed since I last built anything. New techniques to try, new products to use, and of course the Internet. :-)

I was never a really good modeler and kept to what I call 'factory' builds (no weathering, straight off the assembly line), but I'm trying branch out and push my skills a bit.

I'm currently doing a diorama (my first ever) using Pegasus' Alpha Centauri UFO and Tamiya's Mechanic Rally set. Yeah, I stole the idea from someone online but it was just too  funny and I couldn't resist.

Anyway, glad to find these forums as I'm sure I'll be looking for guidance and stealing ideas for my own builds.
