Kevin Hello and welcome.

Most people will tell you the best thing for airbrushing is practice. Ask any questions you want we all do and we all have nightmares no matter how long we've been doing this. Have a look at my post about the reaction I got between Model master paint and Humbrol varnish. As long as your having fun and enjoy your hobby you will always get something out of your builds.

Greetings all,

I am a medically grounded/disabled former pro-pilot (corporate) who is reentering the world of scale modelling.  My current build "mission" is locating and building: A) the in-theater aircraft used by the 1st Cav beginning in 1965 to the present. B) My other "gotta have's" are any large format (1/48 & greater) short-run & relatively obscure carrier aircraft .  (The F9F Tigercat or F3H Demon come to mind.)

I need help from you Guys&Gals regarding airbrushing & equipment.  I have reached the end of the road with the available paint in spray cans.  Nobody puts up the US Army Helo-Drab (FS34031) in an aerosol and that's the only shade I need post-'Nam.  Right now I'm leaning towards a Paasche starter kit - both from what I've read and of course the $$.  I would greatly appreciate feedback on your experience(s).

Thanks to all

Kevin
