Moafu from Big Bend Wi
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, March 14, 2003 12:08 PM
Nothing like going thru one's second childhood. Wife is into clay and sculpting so I decided to build models again. Currently working on The Wolfman (polar lights) and The Red Baron (collector tin no less) Also into photography so when I get something completed is there a place to post pictures?

Real name is Jim, you guess what "moafu" means. It's me sometimes, wish I didn't admit to that...LOL

Any old or new tips and tricks you want to share that pertain to the two models I've mentioned above, please fire away. I seem to have forgotten alot since the mid-60's. Dated myself, didn't I!

Welcome back to the hobby Jim. There's been a few changes over the years but remember the basics remain the same. Don't be afraid to ask questions here...there's lots of good modellers willing to share answers with you.

Thank you Robert. I found an unbuilt 1/48th scale B-17 while cleaning up my basement. Guess what I'll be doing for the next month or two.....

Welcome to this great site Jim....
As to the photo posting, you have to have a separate site to link to and post your pictures there. I used the testing forum to troubleshoot all this stuff and worked things out with the help of DVOSS, the web page designer. Good luck and hope to see your model photos in the future
