Thanks so much for the welcome!!

Yes, Eaker as in Ira C...he is a cousin and Eaker is a family name...I have been known to built out a few WW2 Bombers and he was the inspiration for them...

Oh and 300 is one fine movie (Graphic Novel is amazing too).

Welcome, Eaker (as in "Ira C?")!

Years ago, I used to live in Hickory (NC).  Very scenic part of the Old North State.

Welcome to the Forum, Eaker!

I, too, enjoy miniature modeling. I don't play as much as I used to, but I have figs all over the place. Glad to have you as a reader and subscriber!

The boys and girls here like to see pics and read about your scale modeling adventures, so don't shy about sharing.

And I have to do this: "THIS IS SPARTA!" Also: "TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!" Gotta love that avatar.

Tim

Howdy folks.

I've been a long time reader of FSM, but only just subscribed.  I am mostly a fantasy miniature modeler (Warhammer for the last 20 years or so) but am making the leap back to my first love - military models...in fact, I got hooked on Flames of War...  Needless to say, I like to play games after spending countless hours building and painting miniatures.

FSM really has been a great magazine to read and has had so many inspirational articles I am glad to finally get it delivered to my home.

Happy Model Building!
