My name is Alan, and I build Models.........

No, Really!

I will be 50, in a few short weeks. I have been collection and NOT building models for most of 40 years now. I lurk on some boards, and post on others. I am just starting to try to build some of the hundreds of kits that I have an=massed over the years.

My stash is modest by some standards, and large by others. There are about 250-300 1/25 scale Cars, a couple dozen 1/25 Big Rigs, 75-100 1/48 planes, 25 or so 1/72 planes and 6 ship kits.

I am currently working on an old (very old) MPC/UsAirfix 1/72 B-25 Mitchell Bomber. the fit is lousy, and the kit is missing nose pieces, but I have gotten a good start on it. This kit is mostly just to prove to myself that I can Finish something, Anything! Painting the interior is next. Since I have to find a new nose for it, it will be finished as a Whiffer.

I hope that I can learn some new things, and maybe share a few things too.

Alan T.

Great to have you here, Alan. You're stash is bigger than mine!

Welcome, ask questions, and share your pics and stories.

Best,

Tim

Welcome to the Forums Alan. Glad to have you aboard. The guys, and gals, on here like to see pics of your builds. So do I. My name is Jim, and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the mourning.

Welcome!   Squirrling away kits is nothing new to us!   You 'll fit right in. Dont worry about the missing nose.......... just mount a flak cannon instead!    It 'll be fine...

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Glad to have you join us Alan. Welcome! How's about some photos of that stash of yours as it certainly dwarfs mine. Joe
