Post pictures in the forum that matches the model.     Airplanes in the Aircraft forum.   Cars in the auto forum.  Ships in the ship forum      and so on...

And yes, I do stash kits... and box art. Currently I think the oldest kit (oldest by length of time that it's been in my possession, not oldest by year of manufacture. If it was by year of manufacture, I'd say the oldest would be my N1K-2 Shiden Kai (George) by, I think, Hasegawa.) I have, that is incomplete, would be a 1/48 Trumpeter F/A-18*some designation goes here but I forget which it is* Hornet that I've had since... maybe 2007, 2008...

I also forgot the few kits I got recently off craigslist, one of which I'm going to build for my dad. So theres probably a good 8 to 14 kits in that purchase alone...

Homework is overrated!   Models are "history" so do they count as homework?   

Not unless they can count as an english essay, a US History DBQ essay thats pretty late as it is, some questions in a trigonometry homework packet, and some chemistry homework in a workbook.

Okay, I’ll admit that I was a rocket scientist (aerospace engineer, really), but it’s not that hard, really, I promise. (There are several ways to do this. Just follow the sound of my voice…)

On Photobucket, upload one or more photos and you’re halfway there…

Go to the Album page and click on the thumbnail. This brings up a viewing window.

In another tab/window, fire-up the FSM forum composition panel you want to post into. Compose. When you’re ready to insert your photo…

Go back to the Photobucket tab. Highlight the SECOND entry (the Direct Link button). Do NOT do anything that disturbs the copy buffer.

Once again, go to the FSM post-in-progress. On the SECOND tier of the message control bar, the TENTH icon. It says ‘Insert Media’… CLICK IT.

Another panel opens! You’re almost there…

‘Send’ (Ctrl-V) the URL you copied from Photobucket four steps back. The ‘Insert Media’ panel closes and your image is inserted, like this…

THAT’S IT! The rest is just the fiddly bits & formatting. (BTW, we are all retired millionaires; if you want to be a millionaire, start with a billion dollars and build models.)

Welcome Mike!!! It is absolutely fantastic to have you join us on the forums. I can honestly say that it is incredibly encouraging and refreshing to have a younger generation indidvidual join us here. I hope that you can participate as much as life allows you as I gaurantee it will enhance you're modeling experince immensely. The folks here are simply awesome. I really look forward to seeing some photos of your completed kits. Please, do not be afraid to ask questions and for advice. That is what this forum is all about. Cool to hear that you alredy have stash going. I definitely had one going when I was your age and in fact I still have probably a dozen or so of those kits. Have fun and enjoy.

As for the PB thing, theres so many of us old farts on here who ain't to PC savy, its becoming a habit to help people post pics, its almost becoming automatic to answer the question before its asked.

Ah. Ok. Well... I never really was going to ask HOW to post here, but SHOULD I post some pictures in this thread that I have herer, Also, what is a "GB?" I notice that you have that phrase in your signature and in some of those pictures in your signature.

GB is a Group Build. There are rather a lot of them here. basically, its where people all build models of a related subject, whether it be one type of aircraft or tank, or stuff from a particular battle or any number of other things. They are good fun, but highly addictive. In the last 5 years, all my builds have been for GB's. And when you complete your build within the time frame, you get a nice shiney badge to put in your sig.

If you have a mix of genres already completed, you could post them in the general modelling forum. Or you could split them up and post in the relevant section. They will get more attention than if you posted them here.

Ok. Silly question, I can make a thread for ALL my auto or ship or plane or whatever builds right?

Ye, if you just want to do a round up of your already completed work, it can all be in one thread in the General Modlling section. Or make one thread for each genre. All the Auto's in Auto's, Ships in Ships etc.

Ask that question in the group build section or the section that describes the subject you want to start the group build in. For example; Armor
