Sure did. I usually hate snow, but gave me some great time to be at the bench...when I wasn't shovelling.
welcome to the forums
Hey There Jason, Welcome to the forums and welcome back to the hobby. Stalking and unstable. My kind of person.

Thanks Dave. I agree with you that this screen can be just as addictive. I also agree that it is more informative.
I always say that a true genius is a bit crazy, or at the very least socially inept. In any case I know there are many great minds to pick on this board.
FYI although I'm sure it's common knowledge that you should never attempt to airbrush after a six pack of "Little Sumpn, Sumpn" ale.
Jason Welcome to the forum. Be careful this screen can be just as addictive, but twice as entertaining and three times more informative.
If you have been checking out the forum for a while then your aware of how should I put this there's a few inmates missing from the insane asylum. They are very talented but very crazy mind you. No names will be mentioned to protect the guilty and the innocent.
Again welcome to the forum, enjoy and learn from a good group guys and gals.

Thanks guys. I think i'll just dive right in and join the 1/72 Mania GB. Planning on doing the Italeri H-34 in U.S. Marine scheme.
I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
Howdy, Jason!

Welcome, Jason. Since Missouri is the "show me" state, we hope you'll show us lots of pictures.
Welcome aboard. You are far from alone at returning to the hobby, in fact it seems rather popular lately.
Though i would keep the stalking bit to yourself.

Welcome back to the hobby and to the Forums Jason. My name is Jim and I am a plasticaholic. I love the smell of plastic in the morning. I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Stalking is OK but when you start building you should post pics of your builds. That's the way to keep everyone happy. Glad to have you aboard.

Hi guys and gals,
My name is Jason and I am a returning to modelling after 22 years. It all started when I was searching for things to divert my oldest son from xbox (I have come to believe nothing good can come from all the screen time kids have these days). For Christmas I got him a 1/24 Corvette that we began working on together. After a few sessions I noticed I was doing most of the work and really getting into it, much to the chagrin of my wife. So I left the Corvette for my son to finish (cars aren't really my thing anyway :)) and bought a 1/48 P-47N from Hobby Lobby. The rest is history.
When I was a kid I mostly built 1/48 modern fighters and always Monogram or Revell, mostly because that is what I could find at the dime store and K-Mart. I did do a couple of 1/32, an F-14, and the very last Model I built when I was 19, a F4U Corsair (Revell). Recently though, I have really taken a fancy to WWII aircraft as well as 1/35 figure painting.
I have been stalking these forums for a while and I really appreciate what seems like a real comradery, as well as the kindness of everyone. That is a breath of fresh air in this age. I hope to make some new friends and I'm sure I will learn a lot.
Thanks,
Jason
