But I will warn you......if you don't post pics of your builds......we will cry!

Pics...GOOD!!!

But seriously, welcome aboard. The Bismarck is my favorite battleship, have done about six over the years from 1/1200 up to 1/323 (or whatever the Lindberg one is), but never that one. Half the fun is picking what stage of camouflage (or not) to portray her in. Enjoy!

Well..... now there not.

They were painted as part of Bismarks air recognition

But theres a huge dissagreament on the color.

RED   or  a shade of GREY or even BLUE .

Theres even some evidence of YELLOW

The turret tops were painted over in her regular grey by the time of her sinking.

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome!!!  This is a great place to find all sorts of modeling tips and research for projects.

For some real fun...... try asking what color the turret tops were painted on bismark.

Dont worry.... I'll start the argument.

They were red!!

( Where did the villagers come up with pitchforks and torches so fast ! )

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Just want to introduce myself! I am relatively new to modeling. This site, and its forum community, seem like a great place for me to learn a wealth of information.

Currently, I am working on the Revell 1/350 Bismarck, my first ship build!
