Wow, thanks gents (and mates for my friends across the pond) for the nice welcome!

Appears this place is as friendly as a participant as it seems to be as a lurker. :)

Already glad I joined up, and perhaps I shall post some pics of my fiasco in progress soon since so many of you asked.

Welcome to the Forums Greg!! Glad to have you aboard! Also welcome back to the hobby! You can't ask any dumb questions. They've all been asked at least a thousand times. Sometimes you might get a dumb answer though. That's because some of us, like me, have been building for a long, long time and sniffing all those glue and paint fumes has made us a little uuuhhh........uuuummmm ...... well, you know what I mean? The new glues and paint just don't have that great smell any more. Wink I've been building for 66 of my 72 years so you can guess what shape I'm in. Confused Just jump in any time you feel like it. We don't bite. At least I don't. Welcome and enjoy!

There is lots to relearn and learn ; but the basics are still the same, small plastic parts glued together to make the perfect model..... well Not in my case, but in others cases   it seems to work.

Hi, I'm Greg from northern IN, USA.

After a 30+ year hiatus from the hobby, received a kit for the holidays and find myself having a ball with it. (yes, I know, it is almost June. Started around March and I am very slow).

In a attempt to catch up on techniques and re-learn lost/forgotten skills, have done a lot of Googling, and the majority of returns led me to this forum.

I want to say thanks to so many contributors here, so many threads have been so very helpful to me. As I get my feet wet here, I wish to contribute to the forum as well. Or at least ask a lot of dumb questions. :)
