New here too! Blinking in the sudden daylight....

Hi all, wunwinglow here. I'm a Brit, love modelmaking and motorcycling, and my family, but not necessarily in that order.... At the moment I'm trying to find time to build a few 1:32 aircraft models, having been brought back to aviation by Wing Nut Wings. I have a Trumpeter Swordfish on the bench right now, converting to a Mk III. And a stash already big enough to see me through retirement, even though that is hopfully 12 years away!

I'm a pro model maker by profession, working for a product design company here in Bristol, UK. Here's one project I did a lot of work on, all the CAD and CNC machining, while my colleagues Gav, Mark, Kim, Steve and Col did all the making, painting and assembly.

I must be barking mad; I spend all my working day making models, then try and use a deal of my free time doing it as well! Other than that, family takes a time, and finally I'm an Observer coaching motorcyclists to pass their Advanced test with http://www.bamo.org.uk  .

Always interested to compare notes with fellow modemakers from all over the world; one of the fantastic capabilities this Interweb thingy has given us!

Welcome Tim!  Some very nice work there.  You must post more pics of your work.  We love seeing builds in progress.  I'm no pro modeler by any stretch of the imagination, but sure would enjoy seeing some pro builds.  Heck, I  might even learn something!  Again....welcome!

Welcome to the Forums Tim! Glad to have you aboard! We all love to see photos of others work. That's the way we learn and also help others to learn. Sounds like you could help some of us learn a few things.
