Hi all,
After a hiatus of 15+ years, and inspired by so many great modelers posting their work to various forums, YouTube and the like, I have been drawn back to scale modeling. I hope to slowly become active on this and other forums and share my reintroduction to the hobby with other others.
I dug out my stash and selected a kit to break myself back in to building again. It is a 1/48 AMT/ERTL P-40E Warhawk and I am certain it will help refresh my basic modeling skills. I already am in need of some advice on one aspect of the kit and will be soliciting input elsewhere in the forum.
Oh, and a little about me. I'm 47 and live in Cambridge MA USA. In my past scale modeling life, I was a member of (the now defunct) IPMS South Shore chapter and learned a lot from my fellow club members. I am an apartment dweller and am working to overcome some hurdles related there to my cramped quarters IE; workbench, painting, airbrushing, etc.
