I'm new to fine scale modeling, although I have many years of experience in model railroading, primarily the building of craftsman structures (wooden). I'm presently building a 1/35 scale Tamiya jeep. I hope to learn much about fine scale modeling through the magazine and this forum. As a way of introducing myself, I'm 72 years old, a widower, and a retired aerospace engineer (48 years experience). It may seem strange, but I'm not too interested in aircraft models.
