Well, after about a 40 year break I am returning to the hobby. I was an auto mechanic for 25 years before switching to IT about 10 years ago. I saw an add for the Testors 426 visible hemi in a MicroMark catalog. I ordered it up and over about a year worked on it off and on. I had built the Revel visible V8 for a science project when I was 12 or 13, so this was a trip down memory lane.

I play Company of Heroes with my two borthers-in-law and thought it might be fun to build some of the vehicles from the game. So, I ordered up a Stuart, a Sherman and a Tiger tank, all 1/35 Acadamy models.

I was at Barnes and Noble and browsed the hobby section of the magazine rack and bought a FineScale modeler. I subscribed to the digital version and here I am.

I have added an Apache Long Bow and a B-17 to my stash. I am sure I will have questions for the group as I go forward!
