Welcome Mark!  Glad to have you here.  Can't wait to see your builds!  Even if they are 1/72! Wink

You must know Bish! Smile

Again, welcome and we look forward to seeing more kits done from across the pond!

Welcome aboard from another Brit and another member of the one true scale club.Big Smile

Though primarily a builder of German aircraft, I also have an interest in the 8th AAF, especially those based in Norfolk. So I look forward to seeing your builds.

There's plenty of aircraft GB's at the moment, and more in the pipeline. So I am sure there will be something to peak your interest.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Welcome back, Mark, glad to have you in the unruly mob once again, and to hear that the health situation has improved. Look forward to "hearing your voice," so to speak, in the discussions.

I can trump you age-wise by 5+ years ["when did that happen," indeed....], but I share your love of "the one true scale," though I've been known to stray now and then as the mood takes me....and eyesight becomes more dodgy.

Feel free to post pics if you care to. It's always fun to see what other modelers are up to.

Hello from Mark

Hello everyone,
Ive been very remiss in not introducing myself earlier, I'm Mark (aka aeroplanegripper) Im 51 (when did that happen?) and live in Malvern, Worcestershire in the UK.
Ive just got back into plastic bashing after an illness, which made me realise to chill out and enjoy life and take stock of whats really important. The kids are gone and I have converted the spare room to my man cave!
I was a member of the old forum and am really happy to see the excellent topics that are displayed on here and the friendly assistance this site produces in leaps and bounds!
Im afraid we dont have a model club down here so its good to see the group builds et al and I fully intend to join in if I can. I work away from home during the week so its good to get back home and see what the posties left for me.

My interests are all 1/72nd, USAAF (8th,9th and 15th) and I have just got back in to the Fleet Air Arm in the  Pacific due  to making an F-4 Corsair for a retired WWII FAA pilot.

Looking forward to joining in .

Best Regards

Mark
