I will be visiting San Diego sometime in April. Where are all the good shops at? I currently build 1/72nd scale aircraft.

Welcome to the family Daivid!!! San Diego has the usual few shops found 'round the US. Unfortunately, we don't have a very large dedicated shop. The shops I go to are in San Marcos/Escondido (North County San Diego), and I have never been to any of the current one's in San Diego. The few that I did go to before, have since disappeared. E-mail me where you will be staying, and I'll get you the names, address, and phone numbers of the shops in that area.

I was out there in the late 80's. There was one out in El Cajon, est of the city, and another up towards Miramar as I recall. But that was a long time ago in this hobby.
