Welcome aboard, glad to have you hear and look forward to seeing you around the forums.

All the tips and advice are completely free, all we ask in return is plenty of pics and a good sense of humour.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Stoney,

Welcome! Great to have you here. And, it looks like you're already posting shots of your builds, so you'll fit right in.

Tim

A 39 year old father, husband, video gamer, and now modeler.

My 4 year old son, Max, crept into the TV room one night after bedtime to see me playing Birds of Steel, a WWII combat sim.  The next weekend, I used it to show him the aircraft, and he became fascinated with the Axis and Allies and their armament.

Then came the arms race between his abuello (grandfather) and me, to supply him with the aircraft that he was requesting.  Abuello thought of it first, and bought him a Snap-tite P51.  I was easily suckered into modeling, and Max's interest has become my passion.

I have been lurking in these forums for a few months to steal tips and ideas to make my models prettier, grittier, more realistic.  The members over in the Fixed Wing subforums have been a huge help without even knowing it, so I decided to join, to let them know their advice and contributions are 'worth' it.

Cheers,  Stoney
