Welcome aboard. For pics, first you need a hosting site such as photobucket. Once they have been loaded to there, then use the 'Use rich formatting' link and you will be able to post pics, quote, use similes and other fun things.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.  i have posted a few photos of my most recent build.  I would love to hear what you have to say.  

I like to see others models of a specific aircraft before I build mine.  You know, to get ideas and what not.  I would think that others do the same.  I would like to contribute my builds for others to look at for the same reason.  Question, is there specific posts or a catigories, that I should add photos of my builds specific to aircraft type for others to refference?  Like a catagorized library of builds used for references?

Say, I wanted to look at pic of contributers B-17 (the build I am on now)  Do I just search it and sift through posts?

Are you sure you haven't built a model in 15 years? That Lightning looks great!! Hope to see more of your builds in the very near future!

If it's a plane, post in Airplanes section. If it's Armor, post in the Armor section etc..  There is also a section for references. They are not separated into individual planes or armor or ships etc.. Hope that this helps. 

If you go to the Airplanes section, you can search for a specific plane. You could also search in the Group Builds section. Lots of help there.

Now that is really nice. aside from what Jim said, if you have any specific question on a kit, you can just ask in the relevant forum. There is no library of builds, there are far to many builds on here to make that viable. And the problem with looking through posts with B-17 is that if they are a different kit, they may not help with a specific problem.

But if you do want to look at what other people are doing, joining a GB is a good way, especially if the subject matter is more focused. Or, you could do a WiP thread, and you will defiantly get people who are interested in that subject looking and being able to offer any advice you may be after.

OORAH!  Thanks for the comment Devil Dawg.  Yeah, I didn't have time in college to build and building in the baracks didnt fly with my squad leader...   Maybe it is closer to 12 years.  Either way this P-38 is my 6th model in the last year since building again.  What is really cool is seeing the differnces in the models, if I line them up from the 1st one to this bein the last, I can see significant improvments in trying new tequniques like washes and  weathering.    I tell you, that hair spray method was a frustrating, I had orange peel and lifting issues.  My bigest lesson frim this build... Use an Enamel Primer.  I read up after having the issues about the way paint bonds to plastic.  Lesson Learned.
