Hi All,

i've been modelling now for well over 40 years ......... and you would have thought I would have got one finished by now! Tongue Tied

I build what ever takes my fancy, but mainly 1/16 & 1/35 AFV's & 1/24 aircraft. It's my hobby and I build to please myself, but always strive to improve with each attempt. I have the luxury of working on a 3d cad system for a living, and using this and just started trying 3d printing to help me towards that aim.

Hopefully I can add something from those years of experience

Welcome Gazzer!  I too am excited about the growth of 3D printing.  As the prices keep come down, I think it will really open new and exciting doors for modelers. Well, everybody really; the possibilities are endless.

Which 3D modeling software do you use at work?  I have past experience with SolidWorks, and am now trying to get the hang of Creo (Pro-E) at my new job.

Welcome to the Forums Gazzer! Glad to have you aboard!

Glad to have you as a member of the club. I've been building for 67 of my 73 years and I also build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. Enjoyment is the name of the game.
