New Hobby
Posted by Scallawag on Sunday, March 30, 2014 1:41 PM

Hello all,

I'm retired Navy and just started taking up this obsession.  My other obsession is homebrewing beer.  I have just started a wooden Lynx kit and a resin Type XXI U-boat.

I have many resin submarines and an Arizona in the hopper (all 1/350).

I hope to learn a lot from the forum!

Cheers,

Paul

Welcome Sign Modelling is an obsession, an occupation, a disease, an addiction, a fascination, an absurdity, a fate. It is not a weak mind’s hobby. Those who do it must do it. Those who do not do it, think of it as a cousin of stamp collecting, a sister of the trophäekabinetts [trophy cabinet], and [expletive] of a sound bank account.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Beer and scale model building are two of my favorite things, too!
