Hi all...

Hi all... Well....after NOT constructing a model since I was in my teens (some 30 years ago), I have been bitten by the modeling bug after a recent visit to my local hobby shop. Back then it was aircraft, cars, big rigs, the famous Testors tube glue, and Testors paint in those little glass bottles. I was never any good but always had fun. I'm looking forward to the hobby again and hopefully I will have much better results!!! And just maybe when I complete the model I picked up at the hobby shop the other day, a Tamiya 1/35 Sherman M4, I will have the nerve to post pictures up of it!!!

Welcome King!  Lots of other folks were in the same boat as you.  The hobby is a great one and I can't wait to see pics of the M4.  You know, there are a couple of Group Builds (GB) your M4 would fit nicely in.  They are a great way to get tips and tricks from the folks here on the forum.  I find the GB's are really helpful, you should jump into one.  Don't worry about your first build back in the hobby being perfect!  It's a hobby, have fun!  The skills will come with time!  Besides, you just might surprise yourself!  Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard, that bug certainly seems to be spreading. I just hope they don't find a cure.

AS Eagle says, don't worry about sharing your first build, there's builders of all levels here and its the best way to get advice and ideas.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
