Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard!

I've been building whatever strikes my fancy for 67 of my 73 years. When I got married (the first time) my mother gave away all my models and tools before I could move them to my apartment. My parents thought that it was a waste of time and money.

That uncontrollable urge is called addiction. Welcome to plasticaholics anonymous. There is no cure. Enjoy!

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

I guess I'm the new kid (67y/o) on the block, I joined because I have this uncontrollable urge to recapture my youth with models!  I've been buying old styrene at outrageous prices. But I enjoyed building them once, why not again? Warships were my passion, some age of sail, really old cars, aircraft & rockets. I also scratchbuilt a Santa Maria and several small runabouts. None of which survive (my mother was of the 'every-other-generation" that doesn't save anything).  I never throw anything away and my house looks like it.  Enough rambling, see ya 'round the block!
