I am new to the FS modeling forum and just wanted to say hi to everyone here.
I am 44 and have rediscovered modeling over the last year or so. My favorite subject is WWII aircraft but will definately do some other stuff (armor, subs,..etc) somewhere down the road.
I usually stick with 1/48 scale. My fingers are too blasted big and clumsy and the parts are way too tiny for me and 1/72nd scale to get along. I tried one which came out fine but that was enough for me
I am additcted to photo etch detailing.
Right now I am working on a Tamiya 1/32 A6M5 Zero and it is coming along pretty well so far. The kit is really good and detailed all ready but I went ahead and got a pe set for the engine detailing which really adds to that with ignition wires and lots of other tiny parts that I don't know the names of
