I'm an old guy who has recently returned to modeling after an absence of 30+ years. I can't believe how good the new kits are and I can't believe the selection either. There are obviously some VERY talented people out there building stuff. My favorite subjects of late are U.S. WWII armor and I'm in the middle of an M-10 kit (Tamiya). So far, I've been at it for about 15 months, working maybe a 1/2 hour per week. (I may actually die before I finish this)
Anyway, why does no one out there make a nice set of armor tools (pick, shovel, track adjustment tool, etc.) in PLASTIC!?!?!? I bought a set of tools in resin and, of course being new to all this, I've destroyed every piece I've tried to get detached for the block they come on. So, how the %&^&#% do you get them loose?
