It's been a long time

Greetings all, just wanted to say hello from South Australia. I just recently registered with the forum because I've been on a 25 year hiatus from the hobby. However the passion is still strong, I love doing the research and studying various techniques. I've got some much data, kits, new detailing to get caught up on.....it makes my head spin when I think about it all!Big Smile

Anyhow, I'm pretty rusty at the moment, still trying to master my paints and decals, though I know in time it'll all come back. I was never an expert at this but I was only 13 years old too. I'm much more patient now and a little more wiser to the world.

I'm currently working on Tamiya 1:48 P-47D Thunderbolt and have had a few FUBAR moments (pin washing panel lines particularly) though some promising features too. Like I said, I'm a bit rusty, but very passionate and I'm very excited to be back in the game again. You'll see me on the forum quite often looking for advice and/or techniques so I hope there's some good insight to help this old rookie get back on his feet.

Cheers~
