Welcome to the Forums Randy!  Glad to have you aboard!

Also, welcome to Plasticaholics Anonymous.  I started at 6 and I'm 74 now and still build anything that strikes my fancy at the time.  Looking forward to seeing some pics of your builds.

Welcome!

That new Italeri PT boat looks mighty fine...

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hi, everyone- I'm Randy, and I'm a plastic model addict.

(everyone, in unison: Hiiiiiiii, Randy!!!)

I've been building models since I was 10 years old (I'm a fifty-something nowadays) and my interests are WWII, sci-fi, space, and whatever other modeling genres strike my fancy. I have 16 unbuilt model kits on my shelves now, ranging from the giant Polar Lights Starship Enterprise refit kit, to an AMT/Round 2 Hobbies "Vantasy" model. Just finished a Revell PT-109 model (boy, talk about a kit in need of serious retooling  and updating!) and added it to the bookshelf. Next on my plate, an "at sea" display base for it, complete with "rooster tail" wake, and at least two bomb explosions, straddling PT-109. More soon, everyone!

Thanks,

The Plastic Fanatic
