Oversanding
Posted by Runner78 on Saturday, September 26, 2015 2:07 PM

Hi....New at the forum. My question pertains to oversanding. I used wrong grade of sandpaper while removing putty and sanded thru some of the detail on the wing (plastic). Is there any reasonable method of correcting this mistake? I'm new at this and bit frustrated. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

Welcome to the Forums! Depending on the type of damage, you may be able to rescribe obliterated panel lines, or replace eliminated rivets with little drops of glue. Any chance you can post a photo, so we can see what the damage looks like?

Hello and welcome to the forums, since you are new,I will point out for the maximum benefit of the forum,it is divided into different topics, after introducing yourself, your question was best placed in techniques section or at worst the general section.
