Truck guy!
Posted by InsanePyro on Friday, February 19, 2016 5:44 PM

Got my start with modeling when my dad got me a die cast general lee and we put it togeather. It seems to be a rare type. It was a higher skill level but had a metal shell and was prepainted. To this day I hate painting models. I could paint my truck but not a model of it haha. Most of the ones I have put togeather have been prepainted. Just could never get the hang of it. However I broke down and started to give a good shot when I finally got a Ford Bronco model off eBay years ago. Started it and got about halfway and then had to shelve it and forgot about it. Recent pulled it back out and want to finish it up.

For being my first time really giving a good go at painting one I think most of it looks pretty nice except for the actual body. Once I get this one finished up I want to buy another Bronco model and a Bigfoot model and kitbash 'em and make a monster truck Bronco. All the real monster truck models are collectable apparently and are over $100. I also have a Syclone model in progress. I'll have to dig up my box of completed models and post up some pictures of them.

Thanks for having me guys (and girls Smile Burger)

Welcome to the gang! If you get a chance, check out the new Mobius Ford 69 pickup. It's a great kit.

I'm currently waiting on Revell/Monogram to send me a part so I can finish up the Bronco. Most of it is ready to go!
