Posted by new modeler on Sunday, March 27, 2016 8:30 AM

Hi, my name is Moe and I build 1/48 WWII aircraft. Ihave found need for brass tues from0.5 mm to 2.0 mm. I have found some .6 and 1.5 mm but that is all. Does anyone know where I can buy this on line. I live in Ontario Canada.    Thanks

Albion Alloys make brass tube down to 0.1mm inside diameter. They are UK based, but i am sure you should be able to find some over there.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

As Bish said, Albion Alloys has a very complete selection. Sprue Bros. has them.

Micro-Mark is another source.  Here's a page with a search of their catalog, on keywords, "brass tube":

You can buy specific sizes, or even get an assortment pack.

If you still haven't given up on buying from a store near you, though, I recommend looking up model railroad shops.  If there's one near you, it's likely to carry brass tube and brass rod stock.

Hope that all helps!

Best regards,

Brad

Welcome to the Forums Moe!  Glad to have you aboard!

All the info above is spot on.  Good luck.  Hope to see some of your builds on here soon.

Some of the AM photoetch manufacturers, such as Lion Roar and Griffon Model have brass micro-tubing under the decription "brass pipe". Online retailers who stock these brands should be able to supply this.

I've bought the Griffon Models 0.3mm (OD) tubing from LuckyModel in HK.
