I'll post some soon.  Bear in mind I've been out of the hobby for, jeez, 30 years now.  Each build gets better.  Having high hopes for my 1:48 Tamiya P47 Bubbletop.  I saw it was a favorite here and I must say, its the best kit I've ever worked with.

What forum would I post them in? Trying to learn my way around here.  Thanks!

Thanks!  Oh there's many more mishaps.  That was the short list.  Yesterday I lost the tip of my airbrush.  Looked on the carpet for a half hour and gave up.   Dropped a PE part awhile later and found the tip.  PE part is still MIA.   Relaxing hpbby they said.  Anyway, as I mentioned, just worked on some PE for the cockpit of the bubble top.  I think I went blind.  I have an optivsor too, but working with parts smaller than a flea is certainly a new challenge!

PeteHVNY

Just wanted to pop in and say hi.  I used to build models a lot as a kid into my teens then fatherhood got in the way.  Even took on a few ships including the big revells USS constitution.  Cats dispatached that one ages ago.

Anyway - just got back into it. Spent a lot of $$ on supplies.  On my fourth build.  Tamiya bubbletop P-47.  Revell Zero, P-51 and Messerschmitt prior.  They did not have boards like this in my day and I always wondered how professional modelers got those amazing results.  I've been reading these boards and learning so much!  You guys are amazing and I appreciate you all sharing your techniques.

So I've been experimenting, and mostly learning what NOT to do.  I've lost parts, broken things, messed up paint jobs, stripped and redid them, mixed the wrong thinners and clogged my airbrush etc, etc, etc.

So once again. thanks for sharing.   You guys are incredible.
