I got the Tamiya brand.  It was what they had at the hobby store.  We had an airshow here last year and got to see the Thunderbirds perform.  The F-16 looks cool just sitting there.  I haven't decided if I'm going to hang it from the ceiling or have it sitting somewhere.  I'm not sure how many planes I'll be able to hang before hubby gets annoyed, lol.

Welcome, Keyda81!

You'll never meet a friendlier, more supportive group of guys than you will here on the FSM forum.  I hope you're able to share your F-16 build.  Two days ago, I stopped off at my local hobby shop and picked up the Revell F-16 in Thurderbirds markings.  Well, actually my intent is to build it with the secondary set of markings, those of the Black Knights from the 526th Tactical Fighter Squadron.  Did you get the R/M F-16 or another brand?

Hello everyone.  Somewhat new to the hobby of model building.  I've done 3 aircraft models, a 1/72 C-130, a 1/48 Harrier, and a 1/144 C17 Globemaster.  I'm currently working on an 1/48 F16 Thunderbird.  My "obsession" started with the C-130.  It's also my favorite.  So much so that I've ordered a 1/48 model kit, even though I have no idea where I'm going to put it when it's finished.  The C-130's have been flying over my head my entire life, but just recently got deployed for good.  Our local airbase is taking on a different mission type so the C-130's won't be flying over no where near as often.  I haven't seen them in 2 weeks already.  It's a bit sad, but I'm hoping to keep some good memories through the models. :)
