I joined this sight back in 2003. This forum and the friendly information contained herein, helped elevate my skill level. Building models, for me, is a passion in itself, but to be able to share our builds with like minded individuals really brings the hobby to the next level. I love the magazine as well, though I'm not a subscriber, but the forum, along with some others across the internet, give me a since of comradarie that is difficult to find without being online. I know one person within driving distance from my house that builds models. We visit from time to time, but coming here is easy and you get to meet people from all over. I have had people from 2 countries send me kits to build and tools they thought would be useful to me. Its a great community, glad to have you.
