Welcome to the Forums Bradley! Glad to have you aboard!

I've been building for 70 of my 76 years. I've built whatever struck my fancy at the time including many sailing ships like the one in my avatar and an HMS Victory. Being an old fart now, the hands and eyes aren't what they used to be so I'm finishing up all my 1/72 and other small models and moving up to larger ones. Won't be able to do many of them as I don't have a lot of room for them.

Check out the Ships section of these Forums. There are many great builders there and they are very helpful.

Lookng forward to seeing pics of you builds and maybe following your posts while you do a WIP.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Hey everyone

Long time Modeler(mostly cars and a couple aircrafts) but I havent been able to indulge for about 6 years so starting off on something I have never done and always been interested in: model sail ships. I am starting with a plastic Brig of War Lindberg line and the HMS Victory, I plan on setting aside the sails and making my own out of paper or silk pan(like I read from you guys), and I am currently glue drying some string I am going to use for my rigging(also from you guys).I can not wait to get my hands on a larger scale(if I turn out succesfull here) and than hopefully my first wooden sail ship(It would be great to try it in the water). Thanks for reading!

Best,

Bradley
