Welcome to the madhouse, from another in the Pacific Northwet.  You will probably enjoy the 1/32's, though most scream for PE and more detailing.  All kinds of help and advice is just a question away here.  The members are not shy about helping.

Hi all,

Nice to meet everyone! I used to read FSM as a kid in the 80s back when I first started doing models. High school, college, and career got in the way. Last year around Christmas I picked modeling up again at age 40. I built a lot of kits last year, and my stash keeps growing and growing. It is really great to see the techniques, guides, and reader tips. They all keep Amazon quite happy with my impulse orders for things like Bondic.

When I was kid, I exclusively did planes and cars. This year I started out with tanks. The tanks were plain jane with no weathering. As I did each one, I added a new technique. I plan to go back to the early ones and do full weathering passes.  Then I moved to planes. Lately I've started dabbling in painting figurings, and will take on dioramas. I prefer to model tanks in 1:35 and planes in 1:48 although soon I'll be jumping into some of my big boy 1:32 kits in my stash.

You can see a handful of kits photogrpahed on my 500px page: 500px.com/nathancamarillo

Kind regards,

Nathan Camarillo - Seattle, WA
