Hello all,
New here, from Ottawa, Canada. I recently found the magazine while searching for modelling magazines on my iPad, then found this web site. Those short video reviews are pretty cool! Looking into subscribing now.
I just started modelling again last summer after some 33 years since my last model (I did a lot of them from the mid-70s all the way to 1983). So far I've built:
- An Italeri Sukhoi Su-27D Sea Flanker. This one may have been a bit too ambitious to get back into the game though. :)
- An Airfix Junkers Ju-87 Stuka
- An Airfix Hawker Hurricane Mk.I
I started work on an Airfix Supacat Jackal armoured vehicle but we had a falling out recently and we are currently not on speaking terms. This kit may not look like much, but it has a lot of small, fragile parts. Will get back to it later.
To take a "break" and work on something easier, I just started work on a Minecraft Rockwell B-1A. It doesn't have many parts and looks a bit like those old models without much details from when I was a kid. The plastic is kind of on the cheap side and the parts don't always fit very well together. Still, shouldn't take too long to get that one done. Currently waiting for the paint on the exhausts to dry. :)
Anyway - I've been lurking around the site and the community and this place looks like an amazing resource with a lot of knowledgeable enthusiasts!
Back to painting now...
