Welcome to the Forums Brian! Glad to have you aboard!

I have built anything that strikes my fancy and my wallet said OK for the last 70 of my 76 years. I favor mainly WWI & WWII aircraft and sailing ships.

Ah, Wichita, went to college there a long time ago, worked at the Texaco station at Lincoln  and Woodlawn with a great view of the AFB and all the great things flying at the time like the B-47 and early B-52s. Good memories there and a great aircraft history with Boeing, Cessna, Beech any many others designing and building thousands of aircraft.

OK, I got a bit off course but welcome!

BTW, I still live in Parsons Kansas.

Ah, Kansas! (see what I did there?!)

The armpit of America! I did ten years in Leavenworth...outside of the "Hotel"Stick out tongue. First go around was on Ft. Lv. 85-89...then 2 years in Hawaii and back to Ft. Lv 91-95...Dad was Army. Moved out on our own(93), before moving up to Michigan. Moved back to Lv...2000-03 (wife is from there). Layed a lot of brick in the KC/Olathe area. Long story short...the deer hunting was good there...I don't miss anything else about it!

Another Kansas, welcome.  I'm neighbors to you and Max and live in Chanute.  We go to Witchita all the time.

Fermis, I would have to agree with you, I moved here for a job from Montana, and do feel a bit misplaced between the armpit and the bellybutton.
