I have not used it for chipping myself as i mainly use enamels and i don't go in for heavy chiping. But i believe any brand wil do. I have a chepo can of Tesco own brand.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. I'm glad I've got back into it, but so much to learn. The techniques are amazing these days.

Can someone from the UK recommend me the best hairspray to use for chipping? I'm going to give it a go on a Tiger I, but not too sure as to which brand to buy.

Many thanks!

Welcome to the Forums Paul! Glad to have you aboard!

At least you won't have to worry about the glues and paints making your head spin any more.Wink

Welcome aborad, from a fellow Brit.

Thats not a bad kit to get started on. Its not veryaccurate and not to expensive so ideal for practice. Be sure to post pics of future builds as you do them, thats the best way to get advice and ideas and to progress.

Hi all,

Just got back into modelling after a 30 year absence... My oh my, have things changed! It can all make your head spin, however, I've done a lot of research and recently finished a trial model... The Tamiya Hanomag.

Will post photos for some constructive critisism shortly.

Cheers

Paul
