What is the value of an unassembled Renwal 1:200 Andy Jackson SSBN-619 complete (a few loose parts) in moderate worn box is worth. To you best guesses. Of course this is the interior displayed, hinged hull. About 25 inches. Thanks dgb

Hi DGB,

This would probably be better if posted to the "ships" category of the forum but I'll tell you what I found out.  I've seen this kit priced anywhere from $30 to $60.  It started out as a Renwal kit as you've noted but it's been re-released by Revell.  From what I've read, the interior is not accurate and it seems like some builders of this kit tend to paint over some of the clear parts but they leave it clear over the missile launch tubes since those are generally regarded as being accurate.  The interior might not be accurate but I've read that it's certainly busy enough and looks impressive when complete.  The overall shape of the exterior, however, has been said to be fairly decent.  Is your interest in the kit more as a collector, a seller or a builder?

I'm not a big sub builder (I've only built two and they were both Dragon kits) so I'm hoping others can chime in.

Welcome to the forum!

Eric

I'll second Eric, that this would be better in the Ships forum.

I'd have a look at eBay and see if there are auctions for the kit, for Renwal kits generally, and for similar subjects.

Thank you for the reply. As a newby, it was just a start. Ships forum noted. Happy modeling. Dan

Don't trouble yourself, I know ebay. Ships forum noted. This is just a foray into my second childhood. I built these up the kazoo as a kid. But without much style. This time I'll do it right. Rock on, Dan
