Ah, very nice!  Lots of Civil War history there.

The oil rig sounds interesting, any aftermarket detailing bits to be used? Welcome, good to have you as a member.

I bought a set of 1/200 photoetch railings for model ships.  Some have said they ran out of railings when building the rig.  There's a danger that I'll become addicted to photoetch parts when I start using them.  Also bought a "Bug" from TheSmallShop.

Retired now and back into modeling.  I'm building cars now, but have just ordered the North Cormorant oil rig. (Jumping in with both feet)

Just learning airbrushing and hope to learn to age and weather the oil rig.  That job will wait until I've practiced more modeling skills.

Thanks,

Dave
