My name's David , I'm 23 years old and have been modeling on and off since I was about 8. I generally model anything that strikes my fancy (except for ships).

Is it because you dont like ships, or you have never tried one?

Either way sooner or later your going to see a ship here That will catch your attention and it will be all over for you. You will "catch the bug" and have to try one.

Next thing you know you will be posting pictures of yourself ... tangeled in ratlines... Asking for some advice.

We LOVE giving advice. Lots of modelers here with answers to it all.

I dont have answers to everything, but if I can help I will.

You may have to wait untill I get the paintbrush out of my eye......

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome to the Forums David! Glad to have you aboard!

A man after my own heart. I've been building whatever strikes my fancy (if the wallet says OK) for 70 of my 76 years. I do build ships also as you can see from my avatar. The first one can bother you a bit, but after that they are great in their own way. The rigging on a sailing ship is a challenge, but when finished, is something you'll remember for a long time.
