Tanker - Builder

Sir ;

 Welcome to the F.S.M. Forums . Nice work . Are you going to let us see more ? It is certainly welcome here .     P.S.  Have you ever heard the term " Marine Green ?" This is what your shirts look like . Mine were all faded to a really severe Guacamole green by the time I got new ones . T.B.

Hello,

Thanks! I already started a new topic in the armor section. Yeah i thought it was a little bit too light so i repainted them (last picture) with a more yellow olive colour and made some sweat using a darker green colour.

Welcome back to modeling, Marco!! Love that Patton tank. You did an outstanding job on the wethering, and I'm not one who does any weathering.

Where in The Netherlands do you live? I work for a company that has a division office & manufacturing facility in Veenendaal. Been there a few times for training. Very beautiful country.

Howdy !!  We get a little crazy here sometimes...... but then somebody glues something together and we all calm down. It's our "therapy"

Come on in and grab some glue !

 Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Hello!

Hello everybody,

My name is Marco and i was born and still live in the Netherlands. I have an amazing wife and 2 childeren. I started modelling at the age of eleven or twelve years old for about three years. When i was sixteen years old i met my wife and lost interest in modelling mostly due the lack of time (buying a house, getting married and having childeren). But last year i was looking around on youtube and came across some interesting modeling channels and i felt an urge to start modelling again, so i bought a kit from Trumpeter (KV-85) and finished the kit and bought a new one from dragon (M48A3 Mod. B with a few resin modifications like searchlight and stowage from verlinden and some bravo-6 figures). Now i'm working on a Meng pick-up with ZPU1, wich will be my first report on this site.

Some pictures added from my recent project: M48A3 (did a new paintjob on the figures since the tshirt colours were a little bit light).

Thanks for reading, and speak to you on my first build log from the Meng kit!!
