Tru-Color Paint is a manufacturer of model paint produced in Phoenix, AZ. With over 600 colors in the various product series we make we are the largest manufacturers of model paint in the U.S.All of our paint lines are available in 1 and 2 oz. bottles from 100's of hobby shops, online stores or us directly.
We have just started shipping paint for the military, figure and diorama modeler. This month (Sept., 2017) alone we have started shipping 22 new colors in various categories to distributors and hobby shops. Among them are 14 new military colors (6 in USN warships, 4 in USA Armor and 4 in USAF Aircraft); 3 in model railroading and 7 in diorama-figure-weathering-detailing series. Tru-Color Paint is a solvent based paint which used an acrylic polymer to bind our finely ground pigments onto the model. Except for the TCP-800 series paints, ALL of the Tru-Color Paint product lines are designed to be sprayed directly from the bottle at 28-35 PSI. Thinner is NOT required, but if you desire to thin the paint for any reason, suggest you use our TCP-015, Thinner, as it is made with the same blend of solvents used in the manufacture of our paint.
