Welcome to the family James, you'll find a few other college students (such as myself) in here as well. So I can share any frusteration you may experience having to do homework, instead of modeling!!!

Hi James welcome to the FSM forums, sounds like an interesting project you are planning, all the best with it.
Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.

Hello everyone!

Hi there folks!

My name is James, I am a college student who finds happiness in life by draining his bank account to supply his scale model arsenal. I used to model sci-fi/mecha all the time. But, I got in touch with my past and built the classic A6M5 to reminnisce the days my father introduced me to the hobby. Now, I model all sorts. The last model I made was a Tamiya 1/35 Japanese Type 97 with a Harper Castings Shin-Hoto turret. Right now, I am drawing out scale plans to create a scratch built walker...to fulfill my love of sci-fi/mecha and WWII modelling. It basically is going to be a Chi-Ha with legs. I hope it turns out good. Well, I look foward to being an active member of this community...and I also look foward to learning new model building techniques from everyone!

Peace!
