I have alrady read some very helpful articles on painting aircraft and painting canopies. I cannot wait to get off active duty so I can build some of the planes I have waiting at home.

Welcome.. And if you mean you're back stateside then welcome home and thanks for your service your country is greatful... If not then keep your powder dry and get home safe.. Those kits won't build themselves..

Thanks for the hardy welcome, I will hopefully be stateside in 10 days if all goes well. Then will start an F4U in 1/32nd scale, will try out all the good things I have read. Thanks again all.
