I’m sorry to hear of your father in law, he would have been very proud of the finished work.  Your library is stunning.

Clint,

Love those classic bookcases, and the ladder is the cherry on top. Welcome back, and hope to see some of your builds.

Yep the wife let me have my very own room too. Once I get it all done I will be posting some photos. I just got done building my spraybooth that will vent to the outside took some photos of the build so I might do a build log later on how I built it.

Those book shelves are gor-ge-ous.  Sorry to hear about your father-in-law.  I am sure he would be very pleased to see what you did with the house.

Welcome back, and have fun at the bench!  I am guessing you built yourself a nice work area?  Photos, please.

Dwayne or Dman or just D.  All comments are welcome on my builds.

It's been a long time since I was last on here and even longer since I had a model on the bench. I've been busy restoring a 1895 Victorian style house with my father-in-law then he passed away July of last year leaving me to finish it mostly by myself. Had lots of help from a buddy at work rebuiling the front porch and other heavy lifting things. But now shes all done, insulated, rewired, replumbed, floors restored, and the beautifull original clawfoot tub has been restored as well. Now I can finaly get back to my favorite two hobbys gun smithing and scale models. I guess in the time I was gone Photobucket really broke it off in everyone broken links all over this site and others. Its a shame the first thing I was going to dive into was all of lawdogs aircraft that I have missed but looks like thats gona be a no go. Hope to get back into the swing of things and meet some new friends.

ps. here is also a pic of the bookcase unit I built into one of the living rooms to hold all my reference material. I got enough to fill it about halfway hope to get it packed full
