Deryl
My question is how do you make a flip front end on a car that is not already hinged ??

Howdy !

I have "attempted" this twice. First gently cut the fenders off. Assemble the parts as if there still on the car. ( You will probably have to use some strips of plastic for bracing allong the joint between the hood and fenders. ) Assemble the Grill and headlight housings.  ( You will need more bracing here. )  Once the Flip hood/fenders are together you will have to "Imagineer" a set of hinges to attach to the back of the grill. Look at the front of the frame, the frame will be the deciding factor on where to mount the hinge's.

If you can, look at a model truck hood. They use a pin through a plate with a hole, works pretty good.

Please post this question in the Automotive forum, they will have better answers than me.... ( they will provide WAY more detailed info than I can. )
