It was the first sub I did that turned out better than my usual mess - o - crap .
I took this picture before I weatherized it.
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome to the Forums!
Good advice about photo hosting sites. When PB got mean and hateful, I switched to Postimage.org, and have had no problems.
Welcome aboard.
Afraid you will have to find another hosting site, unlessyou want to pay PB's ransom of 400 bucks a year.
But i look forwardto seeing your build.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

First a word of advice.
DUMP PHOTOBUCKET !
They are not your friend, and you won't be able to post any picture's using their service.
Try Postimage.com.
Or fokti.....
Or any other picture hosting site.
Without seeing what you have done, I can't offer any advice. But I can welcome you to FSM ! Come on in and have fun !
Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.
I'm just getting into armour and camo myself so I can't help you, but, if you go to the Armour, Diorama or painting sections and post this same post, you will probably get tons of answers to your questions. Hope that this helps a little.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
So hey there guys. I’m making a historically inaccurate scene, because I am obsessed with winter camouflage patterns. I’d like some critique for what I’ve done, I’ve been modeling since I was 9. I’m $24 know, and had a 5 year gap, but I’ve come in strong with these being the FIRST 3 I’ve painted beyond 1 color spray paint, I painted all of them one color, then used a cheap hairspray on the model, sprayed a white with an airbrush on, waited a bit, then kind of brushed it off with a wet brush, to achieve the “washed” look. I use the rust recreator that I’ve uploaded a pic of, is there an alternative? And my big question, what do you guys use for fake snow, and crater marks and burns in your guys beautiful displays? I’ve rolled up paper as a placeholder of where I would like a fake snow mound in front of some of the models.. any tips? Criticism? Don’t hold back :) I think I did the pics right...but idk......
