I think it's important to have goals in your hobby

Howdy!

Goal's are great, just make sure it's an " obtainable" goal.

Dont do like I did.......

My goal is to build EVERY Type 7, Type7 B and Type 7 C  U-Boat that saw combat during WWII.

(It's only 780 or so sub's..... It could be done....... right......???

I have built 13 so far......

I should be done by the year 2340 !

Welcome to FSM !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.

You've come to the right place. The members are very knowledgeable and ready to help you with any problems/questions that you might have. I learn something new almost every day. Make sure that you post pics of what you're working on so that we can see it and what you might need help with. Main objective is to enjoy yourself while doing it. When you're not enjoying a hobby anymore, it's time to look for something else to do.

Been a modeler for a couple of decades now and found mechas my home with a bit of miniatures on the side. Thought I should try and get invested in the modeling community a bit more so here I am.

I'm trying to challenge myself to push my work to the point where it's good enough to be featured in magazines. I think it's important to have goals in your hobby and that seems a good one to be aiming for. Hopefully I can pick up some new tricks and techniques as I work towards that.
