Welcome Daniel!

It's always great to hear from another fellow Lurker.  I watched the forum for years,  then joined in 2014, and finally got active this past year. You meet great folks, learn a lot, and have fun.

That AMT Darth Vader tie fighter that you are about to do, is that the one that the top hatch opens and a figure of Vader is inside?  Please build and post your progress (maybe add interior lighting?).

If you have difficulties finding a photo hosting site or linking pictures, ask the forum.

Welcome to the Forums Daniel! Glad to have you aboard.

You've come to the right place. The members here are very knowledgeable and ready to help you out with any questions/problems. I've been building for 71 of my 77 years and have learned a lot from these members. Favs are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships. Otherwise, I build anything that strikes my fancy at the time and my wallet says OK. Enjoy!

Welcome aboard.  Can't wait to see some pics.  For sure do a WIP thread.  Those are very popular with everyone.  It's always great to see others processes and progress.

Just keep picking away at it...

Hello everyone

i recently go back into modeling and wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

I did lots of models when I was a kid to then picked it up again in my young adulthood. That was early to mid 90’s. Then my stuff got packed up and a couple of marriages and moves later I am just starting back.

My first kit back is the amt/ertle Darth Vader tie fighter that’s the old mpc molds. Did one when I was a kid back in the late 70’s early 80’s so it will be a nice nostalgic start back. I have been taking pictures so I may do a build thread.

Anyway, for reading.

Daniel
