Hello
Posted by chile1 on Monday, April 23, 2018 6:38 AM

Hi, my name is John. I make fishing lures and I use an airbrush to paint them. I've lived in Japan for 30 years and I am completely new to airbrushing. I'm having a very difficult time using an airbrush, but I'll keep at it. Basically, I've been watching YouTube videos.

thanks

John

Welcome Sign  Hello John and welcome to the forum!  Airbrushing is funny.  I've been using one for maybe 17 or 18 years and, everytime I use it, I still feel like it's my first time.  I kind of view it as a chore because I hate mixing things and I hate the post-use clear-up but, when it works, it's pretty slick.

I have my good days and my bad days of airbrushing so it happens to all of us no matter the experience level.  So don't despair or get frustrated with it!  With practice, you'll have more good days than bad.  Most importantly, don't ever be afraid or intimidated when asking a question here on the FSM forum!  Everyone here is friendly and helpful beyond belief.
