New to the Scene

Hi,

I'm new to the Fine Scale Modeler forums.  It looks like a good place to be.  I've been modeling since the early '70s.  Main interests are anything aircraft in 1/32 and flying boats/floatplanes in 1/72, although I dabble in other areas.

I hope to post to one of the group builds shortly, once I figure out the picture posting process.

Look forward to meeting everyone,

Ted

Hi Ted, and a hearty welcome. You'll find this a great place to visit daily, always something really interesting going on. Some very talented builders at FSM, plenty to be learned from them.

Hi Patrick, and thanks for the welcome!

I know what you mean re:  the site.  I've been browsing it for the last few days while registering and waiting for posting priviledges, and there is lots to look forward to in skill, friendship and things to participate in.

I can't wait to get started!

Talk to you soon,

Ted

Aha!

Another modeler with good taste .! I love the idea that you build Flying - Floaty thingies ! That earns a definite Welcome Aboard! T.B.

Thanks T.B.!  Yes, I've always had a fascination for aquatic birds.  I actually have a 1/72 vac of an Aermacchi MC 100 on the go at the moment, but I want to get some work done on my Japanese group build model before posting anything else.

Talk to you soon,

Ted
